Every plant has a story… And every gardener can
dream.
At
WildThings we bend and stretch
the accepted rules for hardiness zones, and sun, shade, moisture and
dryness requirements. Nature does it all the time. Our seed sources
are worldwide, though we have a passion for North American native
plants. They’re tough and beautiful.
Our perennial and shrub collection is up to over 1,500 varieties,
including many hard-to-find gems. When you visit, tell us about your
wish list. We’ll try just about anything. The more we grow, the
more we know – about what plants like, and what we like about
them.
OUR Mission… is to promote native species and
Canadian-grown and bred plants, to decrease dependence on chemical
control and to help sustain Canada’s wild places and wild things.
Early
next year, we hope to begin a mail order service. (But we make no
promises. A lot seems to happen between and betwixt.) Check back here
