An excellent groundcover and lawn substitute with glossy, evergreen foliage on low, trailing stems. The deep green leaves turn burgundy in cold weather. Fragrant, pink bell-shaped flowers in spring are followed by scarlet berries which remain showy for months. 'Vancouver Jade' was introduced by the University of British Columbia Botanical Gardens and selected for superior performance and cover. Excellent in sun to part shade and fairly drought tolerant. Each plant will spread between 1'-2'.
